FUNCTIONAL

Hippocrates is considered the father of modern medicine. One of his most famous quotes is “Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food”. These words are often utilised for the eloquence with which they express the importance of our daily food choices. We believe that a healthy body is a healthy mind and focus on foods that are proven to enhance cognitive brain function, gut support and to optimise general health.

Functional foods are normally categorised as having health benefits beyond normal levels of nutrition. They commonly contain high levels of phytochemicals (active plant chemicals) these have been proven to boost health. These are abundant in such plants and spices such as garlic, chili, cloves, ginger, parsley, turmeric, cinnamon. Other functional foods which are high in antioxidants which contain (catechins) such as blue berries, cranberries, tea and coffee. This trend is nothing new. For millennia civilisations have been curing the sick with herbs and spices and still are. All of our chosen ingredients which are put into our products have been chosen for a reason, aside from being locally available here in Vietnam. A link for our ingredients can be found below…?

We have been working on a number of functional foods. Our all natural energy bars contain a wide range of selected exotic fruits, nuts and spices that are loaded with nutrients and antioxidants, we then add cricket flour to them to give you the healthiest most nutritious, protein rich food you can get.

We also are working on a number of different drinks to improve BCAAs intake and improve gut health. We also have a drink under development which is good for cognitive development. In order to do this, we use a technique called nootropic stacking. Simply put, is the combination of two or more nutrients that have beneficial effects on memory, learning, focus, or motivation, in order to create a synergistic effect in the brain greater than any increase in cognition than the nutrients you “stack” could create on their own.
